Starting midnight, the new Delhi will observe a ban on firecracker till the Month-end.
National Green Tribunal releases a Ban on the use of firecrackers in New Delhi and the nearby cities.
This ban is imposed to reduce the effect of poor air quality.
The Capital is in the “severe Zone” mark in the Air Quality Index.
The capital is also not in a very good position to control the Novel Corona Virus.
Cities like Gurgaon, Noida, and Faridabad is in a similar state of the Virus.
It’s a debated issue that the ban is imposed just before the Diwali festival dear to many Indians.
NGT issued the ban impacting more than 24 districts across the state and part of NCR
Amidst the citizen’s disappointment, there will be relaxation for two hours.
Citizens have been given a window the celebrate and the timing has been issued.
The timing is as follows.
- Diwali and GuruPurb from (6 am to 8 am)
- Christmas from (11.55 pm to 12.30 am)
- New Year’s Eve from (11.55 pm to 12.30 am )
